GREENSBORO – The 2017-2018 school year is in its final nine weeks here at Mapletown. Seniors are preparing to graduate and 8th graders are preparing to become freshmen. Teachers are finishing up their preparations for state tests. Students and teachers have been preparing for Keystone and PSSA exams all year. Let’s see their hard work pay off!
In the final two months of school, seniors have the prom, tests, senior projects, senior trip, field days, CTC graduation, MHS graduation, and much more to look forward to.
Students in grades 9-12 will be attending a mock crash for prom in the student parking lot the week of prom. This shows the students the effects of drinking and driving, and how serious it can end up being. The S.A.D.D. club along with the Greensboro and Bobtown Fire Departments will coordinate and put on the scene for students.
CTC graduation is May 17.
Mapletown graduation is June 1.
Seniors will be preparing for graduation in the month of May, they get cap and gowns, rehearse the ceremony, find out valedictorian/salutatorian, and finally graduate!
The long and winding road is close to its end!
