MINNEAPOLIS – Super Bowl LII took place on February 4th, 2018, at the U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
It was the Philadelphia Eagles vs. The defending Super Bowl champions, New England Patriots.
There were 67,612 people at the Super Bowl game. There was an amazing halftime show performed by Justin Timberlake, while the National Anthem was sung by P!nk. The Philadelphia Eagles won their first Super Bowl 41-33. Backup Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, who completed 28 of 43 passes for 373 yards and three touchdowns with one interception, and caught 1-yard touchdown pass, was named Super Bowl MVP.
For the rest of his life, Nick Foles will be known as the savior who topped Tom Brady and lead victory against the New England Patriots for the Philadelphia’s first Lombardi Trophy.
