GREENSBORO – There is an archipelago made up of seven islands. One of the islands is called Malta, a small island in the Mediterranean Sea. It’s south of Sicily in-between Europe and North Africa.
Malta is one of the smallest countries in the world, the 10th smallest to be exact! It is only 122.01 square miles. This country has over 450,000 inhabitants. That makes it one of the most densely populated countries in the world.
People come from all over the world to visit Malta for it’s sunny weather, beautiful beaches, interesting history, and a vibrant nightlife!
There are plenty of things to do on this island. One can go see all of the beautiful landmarks, parks, tours, museums, amusement parks, and shows!
In Malta, one can explore 7000 years of history, but live passionately in the present. The islands’ scenery and architecture are astonishing. Tourists can retrace the footsteps of St. Paul or see where the Knights of St. John defended Christendom.
