GREENSBORO – Students and staff at Mapletown Jr./Sr. High School participated in “No Shave November” to help raise money for Relay for Life, a cancer fighting organization.
Staff & Students who participated in this event raised over $170.
Eight students and six staff members participated here at Mapletown. The students were: Trenton Antill, Chance Wilson, Chance Franks, Chucky Lash, Brandon Donley, Robert Friend, Rj Sigley, and Tanner Weston. The names of the staff members included: Mr. DeCarlo, Mr. Fink, Mr. Difilippo, Mr. Pratt, Mr. Mellinger, and Mr. Pekar.
Each student and staff member participant had the opportunity to be “sponsored” and to seek donations to help the cause.
Brandon Donley raised the most money as a student during this contest.
Tanner Weston won the student votes in the contest and Mr. DeCarlo won the staff votes for “best beards.”
Mapletown appreciates all participants and donations for such a worthy cause.
